About the teacher:
Julien Shields is an illustrator and comics artist that’s been teaching comic-making for years, including at after school programs for middle schoolers. He enjoys writing and illustrating his own stories as well as collaborating with authors. His work is usually all ages, with a loose, spontaneous style, but he likes to explore a variety of subject matters and is always looking for a fresh way to approach his drawing. When he isn’t drawing, you can find him surfing, playing board games, or working at Mischief!
