Felt Flower Crowns – August 17

2 – 5 pm
In this class, you’ll learn to make a variety of different flowers- all made from felt! We’ll then use your gorgeous new flowers to create a one-of-a-kind flower crown with their gorgeous new blooms! Students will learn several flower variations and work with floral wire to a create a crown to wear home. Sport your handmade crown everywhere you go- they’re particularly fun to wear on picnics and at music festivals! Have a young kiddo? These are the perfect addition to any child’s dress-up wardrobe! Not into flower crowns? Your flowers make wonderful floral arrangements- no green thumb required! You can also use the flowers as pins, hair accessories, and purse adornments! All materials are included, and all craft levels welcome! Ages 14+

About the teacher:
Erin Garcia is the talent behind Feed the Fish Co- you’ve probably seen her amazing felt pennant flags and wall hangings in the shop! Based in El Cerrito, Erin has been crafting all her life, and started Feed the Fish Co in 2011. Since then, she’s been heavily involved in the Bay Area craft scene. Scope her amazing handmade pieces in the shop- then come learn how to make your own!

Sign up by August 12th to save $10 on the class! Plus, advance registration helps our teacher prepare, and also helps prevent class cancelation. This class needs at least 4 students enrolled to run- if we don’t get enough sign ups, the class may be canceled and 100% of your class fees refunded (unless you’d rather apply your payment towards another class). In the event of class cancelation, we’ll give you at least 24 hours notice. Thanks for understanding!
