Youth Craft Fair Vendor Application
We’re hosting a Holiday Bazaar featuring all makers under the age of 18! We’re looking for young makers, bakers, earth-shakers, and business-minded kids to vend with us! We’re hoping for a wide variety of makers, artists, young chefs/bakers/lemonade-istas… the sky is the limit! We love to support local makers, and we’re SO EXCITED to hopefully foster some creative entrepreneurial excitement in the next generation!
This event will take place in the back classroom space inside Mischief on Saturday, November 30th for Small Business Saturday. This is the Saturday immediately after Thanksgiving- often referred to as Small Business Saturday. It’s usually a busy day for us, and we hope that you’ll help us spread the word about the event to make sure even more people come out and support your kids!
FREE TO VEND:
It is FREE FOR KIDS TO PARTICIPATE, though we do ask for a REFUNDABLE $20 DEPOSIT to help us minimize the risk of vendors not showing up. If your application is accepted, your $20 payment will be refunded on the day of the event as long as your kid(s) show up to vend! If your application is not accepted, your $20 payment will be refunded when we notify you. If your kid(s) get accepted, but then have to back out at the last minute, we will issue a refund as long as you notify us by Midnight on November 20th. We offer a 50% refund for cancellations between November 20th -26th. Follow the link to pay after you submit this application.
WHO SHOULD APPLY:
We’re looking for youth under the age of 18 to vend with us. Younger kids may need a little more help setting up- since we have a 1 year old ourselves, we won’t be able to supervise your kids- if they need adult supervision or assistance, that is for the parents to arrange. We are happy to accept groups of kids, and we encourage kids to apply with friends and/or siblings- we want this to be a fun experience for the kids!
Saturday, November 30th from 1 – 4pm.
Upon acceptance, you’ll receive an email with logistical information about loading in and out, as well as lots of helpful advice- we’ve got years of experience selling at craft shows and we’re happy to share our wisdom! We’ll have 4′ and 6′ tables available for the kids to use, and the 6′ tables will be available as a full table, or a half table. You can choose your preference in the form below.
DEADLINE TO APPLY:
Noon on Sunday, November 10th.
We’ll send out notifications about whether or not your kid(s) were accepted by midnight on Tuesday, November 12th.
